First Two Weeks of the New School Year!

This has been a great two weeks of the new school year.  We have already worked on a ton of math review,  written two poems, read a whole bunch of books, reached about 1/3 of the way through our class novel, The Search for Shadowman, learned about archaeology, and gone on a field trip to the Nevada Museum of Art!
I will be posting your poetry soon, so anyone can log on and read it. What fun! By commenting on posts to our Blog, you can earn your right to your own blog - which means you choose the design you like, which widgets (like gadgets) to add, and what to say to the world.
I look forward to everyone reading your comments, but remember, a comment is adding to a conversation - not just saying "Cool!" or "Wow!" You should have more to say than that... Here is a link to a video a 3rd grade class made to help people learn how to leave quality comments.

We should make one for the teachers at our school - some of them don't know how to use a blog yet...

  17. Hi Mrs.Harvey!!
I am happy to have you as my teacher!!! I have hula on Saturday and this is kinda school like beacuse my "kumu" ( teacher ) is always talking about 45 degree angle and it's like math. So it's like school. I had so much fun on the trip to the Art Museum and the art was so cool!!!! And the one that I like the most was the "Trash art" and the tour lady was saying that Reno is such a beautiful site to look at but there is a vast selection of trash and he put all the trash and made it into art! I like your pinch pot mine was okay!! I love you Mrs.Harvey! See you at school.
